Server requirements are pretty ridiculous but if the game is popular enough it'd be worth it.

The Mod is free (for now). But you need to have a copy of ARMA 2 + ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead which was on steam sale for about $25-$30 NZD

For anyone actually still interested in DayZ, you are able to buy just the ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead and download the ARMA 2 free demo which has everything you need for the mod, so this cuts the price down from $30 to like $15. It would be really cool to get a lolnet server up for this game

I would like to see a lolnet server for this game. I have been playing this for about 2 weeks now and it's an excellent game. It would be nice to team up with someone a bit more trustworthy on this game though lol.
