Why does it say im not on white-list

When i updated to 1.3.1 and tried the lolnet minecraft server it says:"You are not added to white-list." I would like to know what this means. If someone could explain this to me i would greatly appreciate it.

Same here would appreciate being whitelisted if you can if any admins are reading this.

all it says is that .13.1 is out but it does not say why were not on the white-list.
