Warping with Horses

Is there any way to warp your horse back to where you live? I've travelled a long way to find a place with horses, and I really can't be stuffed riding them through such a long way, especially when going through oceans... I've tried doing /home while on a horse, but nothing happened..

make a set warp to your home then put the sign where you are with the horse and right click maybe that'll work?

could you go to the neathers on a horse? and i know that dogs will warp with you, mabye horses will to

I'm sure you are all aware horses do not warp.

other then boasting rights, what is the point of having a horse at your HQ?
there isn't one, so I honestly do not see it as being a slightly important issue.

I do notice however it does provide job opportunities for people to ride horses long distances for people for $$$ :mrgreen:

I would never consider taking my horses home :lol:

there is no way to teleport you horse. The best way to move your horse long distances is

1) ride them the long way
2) go to the nether
3) put a lead on them and fly

I suggest riding them but I will explain why.

if you ride your horse in the nether there is a higher chance of it dieing (e.g. lava)

if you can fly and you take your horse via lead then you must make sure you don't go too fast or you lead might break due to the distance between you and the horse.
Also while the horse is flying on the lead their fall distance is increasing which means over a period of time if your horse lands the horse will die instantly, unless your horse lands in water.

Are you saying coz I can fly, that I can use that to transport my horse to my HQ??
If so, what are the limitations for doing it for others?
