Have you watched the UHC series on the mindcrack server??? I know that most of you guys know seth etho BdoubleB Arkaz and other mindcrackers . Why wont we try and do that ?? all we need is a good area, lots of available players, a few command blocks, a little help with two applications (MCedit & Amidst) and the admin's approval.

Rules:
1.Natural Regeneration is false and the only way to regenerate is to use golden apples :applegold: or potions which you must need to go to the nether .

Requirements 4 competators:
1. Skype (gonna make one quick!!!)
2. an account (ofcourse -_- )
3. experience
4. and enough time (5 hrs maximum)

we have run UHC before going back awhile we even had James make a custom plugin for it if we were to do it it would be as a one off event so this is the communities opportunity to forward there ideas as to the format how many players,teams, team size, time limit, objective, etc. once this has been decided upon i will set a time and date we will get teams registered etc and yea

is there like a way to make it a permanent server like the other ones?? it will have like a lobby - ish thing where you can join different arenas.. or different worlds.. making it a perm server meaning we can always play again when we want. that would be better aside from making it like just an event...

There's no point we already have 4 servers dedicated to pvp and they don't get much use

Were if we run this as an event ever other month we will get a heap more people

Yup had a chat with some of the guys last night and we will he looking to run something ever other month with the first one happening in 2-3 weeks time

Yay!!! Its great to see that someone has brought this up and it is becoming something! I can't wait for this as i think it will attract many users to the event every couple of months. Just a quick additional idea:
Time limit should be 3 hours as most teams will require a long time to acquire resources such as diamonds, obsidian and golden apples.
Also the amount of players per team should be 3 or 4 but less teams so maybe 8 teams??

These ideas are optional especially if the ideas have already been confirmed at different numbers.

Guys, Just a quick add on idea, If this becomes a regular event, Maybe make it so teams must pay some sort of fee to enter? So that we don't get teams created at the last second.

Also having singles games would be pretty cool.

Maybe like for the fee idea either:

1 Person = 400 lolcoins or 50,000 ingame money
2 People = 800 lolcoins or 75, 000 ingame money
3 People/ 1 Team = 1000 lolcoins or 100,000 ingame money

Just an idea that could be useful with charge of fees.

Here is my tentative plan for the first round

10 teams of up to 4 players (a team does not have to have 4)

An entry fee of 1000 lolcoins per player

And a prize of 10000 lolcoins to each surviving member of the winning team

This will be a pvp comp with world boarder shrinks at times to be specified

There will also be spot prizes of lolcoins

can we have like a list of participants or maybe have an accessible chest near spawn that contains book and quill. and in that book they will write why they want to join and the best 30 (3 players per 10 teams) applicants reasons will get to join the fight or go with NicelyDoneBro's idea which is to make another branch to the server. I hope Cptwin notices this post too sounds good??and which idea would you want to go with??

Jack, As you can kind of see. The admins are sorting out a special world for this. A survival world arena would not work as this looks like it will be a full out UHC Competition in a new world. Also many people come on every day, Book and quill system would not work.

Jack, As Ice as stated the book and quill wouldn't work so the teams that want to be in the competition would probably have to signup on this post rather than your idea. Hopefully a date will be set sometime next week after AuckLan.
