My time on Lolnet carries many, many fond memories for me, for the day to day fun and enjoyment I gained from being a member of the Lolnet community. With this in mind, it is with great sadness that I have reached the decision that it is time from me to move on from my duties as an Administrator on the Lolnet server.
I look back on what I hope I have achieved here. I hope you feel as much joy in Lolnet and get as much fun from it as I have. Me, along with the other dedicated staff here have tried to create a server which you can enjoy, something that you just want to be on everyday.
I hope that I have helped to contribute to a strong foundation for Lolnet to be built on. Through the countless hours that I have spent on the server, through helping users, the thousands of Modreq's I have completed to achieve my goals to help people of the community, I hope you have felt I have made a positive impact on your time on Lolnet, for this is what I have strived to achieve.
Sometimes, the way I have made decisions, or run things may not have been beneficial to you, and sometimes I have made decisions that you feel unjustly done by, but this is simply part of running a robust community that thousands of people have been active participants of. I have tried to be fair and just and help deliver an experience for all users to enjoy.
I want to thank you as a community for being apart of Lolnet. You make the great things of Lolnet possible, for without you there would be nothing. Many of you have impacted me, whether it be through your tireless commitment to the server, your willingness to participate or just being great people to talk to and be around. Without you, I would not have found the joy that I have been able to experience on Lolnet.
I also want to thank all those who dedicate and use their own time to make Lolnet possible. For Schnicks, who creates wonderful buildings to marvel at, to James who not only codes wonderful plugins but is a fantastic, positive person to be around. To all the Moderator who are willing to use their time to help you guys, and the UserAssistants, who act as the helpers of the community, being the user support network.
My last thanks goes out to the wonderful Cptwin, which for without him, Lolnet would not exists. Your commitment and willingness to run a server for the benefit of others is wonderful, and I hope people recognize the work and effort that you put in to make what we have on Lolnet possible.
My time on Lolnet has been fantastic, from the kind user by the name of 'KBrezor', who first showed me around and answered my questions, to the excitement of running events like the Buymore opening attracting 73 people online at one moment.
If there is one thing I want to leave behind, as my legacy to Lolnet, I want users to take on the spirit of being helpful, community driven people, for which was my first passion on Lolnet. Take a moment out of your day to answer someone's questions or give them a hand. This is what makes people's daily lives all the more exciting.
I want to wish the future success of Lolnet good luck, as being New Zealand's best Minecraft server, and I want to wish all users, all the best, and hope that Lolnet may continue to be the great place it is, with a community driven atmosphere.
In my role as an Administrator of Lolnet, I have strived to make your experience all the more better, and I hope that I have been able to make a positive impact, not only on your playing and using of Minecraft, but on your life.
Thank you everyone for everything that you have done, for all the words of praise that you have had for me, and encouragement that you have given me. Without those people, I would not have been able to do what I have done over the past 18 months.
My time on Lolnet has been an exciting experience, playing a key role in writing a chapter of my life. But now, it is time for that chapter to close.
I want to wish all of you every success but it is time to say, Au Revoir,
Goodbye Lolnet,
