The Lolnet tour of homes
Sunday the 4th of May, at 3pm New Zealand time
What it is:
This is an opportunity for everyone to show off their buildings that they have worked so hard on creating (even though it says homes, any building you have created is okay)! I know that we all try hard to make some awesome structures, but very few people get to see them since we are all spread out across the world. This is your chance to show it to everyone! Don't be shy, all structures are welcome.
How it works
A warp sign for the event lobby will appear in spawn at the time of the event. This sign will take you to an event lobby where there will be warp signs for every structure that is participating, together with a sign telling you who the builder of that structure is and what type of build it is (home, shop, hotel, etc.). Clicking on a warp sign will take you to the corresponding structure. Feel free to walk around (outside and inside) and check it out. This is our chance to show off our builds, so make sure you see everything. When you are done with that structure, simply do "/back" to return to the event lobby and choose another one. This event will be up for a day or two, so you should have plenty of time to check out all of the builds.
How to participate
If you are only interested in seeing other people's builds, then you don't have to do anything! Just look for the event sign in spawn on the 4th. If you want to submit a structure for people to check out, reply to this topic with your in-game name, the x, y, and z coordinates of your structure (you can find these by hitting F3; make sure to not miss negative signs!), and what type of structure it is (home, shop, hotel, etc.). If you wish to submit multiple structures that is fine, just make sure to include them all in the same reply to keep things organized. Once you have done that, your part is done! If you want to highlight specific features of your build feel free to build signs pointing them out (for example, I will be showing off my vault door).
The fine print
Do not try and create your own warp signs for these warps, as they will be deleted once the event has finished. If you submit a building for inclusion in this event you understand that people will be walking throughout the whole thing, and you are okay with this. If there are any areas where you do not want people to go you must find a way to block it off (e.g. build a temporary wall or fences). If it is available, it is fair game for visitors.
