Safer Passwords Plugin.

Hey Guys,

Cyber here (Or maybe Assassin_Jheg),
I was on the server screwing around when I thought of a pretty good plugin idea that lolnet
doesn't seem to have and REALLY needs. You guys know about how with loging in, you have to type /login *Password*? Well, some of the time, people make that mistake of not typing in the "/" or adding a fullstop before the command. Now, I know you can just /changepassword right in the game these days, but I think it would be super useful if there was a plugin that wouldn't send the message when you made a mistake like
./login mypassword or login mypassword and instead say something like "Oops! You Nearly sent out your Pass! Lucky i'm here to help!" <--- lol Cheesy. I think this would make passwords a lot safer and just save time from everyone having to make a new password and having to remember it...

Thanks,
Cyber OR Assassin_Jheg

This is a good idea, the issue is detecting when someone has made a mistake.
Could you breakdown the things the plugin would look for in order to determine if a mistake had been made?

would it be similar to the chat filter system where it would just detect words like login and error variations of with / and . included?

I think i understand what you are wanting.
I believe that you can't send chat messages unless you are logged in. so if i typed ./login abc123 then it wouldn't work.

Could I have someone else also confirm this?

You are correct James, you can't chat unless you are signed in. I just tried.

That's cool.

I never tried chatting before logging since before the new world update so I never knew it wouldn't let you say anything.

Thanks for coming up with that James.
