Organising League of Legends Tournament

Ok been trying to get something like this going and want to get ideas about what you guys feel would be good rules.

Idea:
Teams of 5 with optional 2 reserves (reserves cannot be in another team). Need to be registered in two weeks from whenever we post it up/get it going.
Tournament is Best of 3. If a Team wins 2 rounds in a row then they move on.
Games will be based on a ladder, but the actual holding of said matches is up to the team captains to come up with something reasonable, possibly matches have to happen within 3 days of a date given. eg: If we said round 2 starts on the 3/10/2012 then the matches must happen anywhere in between the 3/10 and the 6/10.
Ladder style tournament. Team disconnects/not showing = forfeit, unless there is a serious issue.

Would we need a prize for the first one? It's more looking for a lolnet Team, but I can try and rustle up a prize if need be :lol:

Any other ideas you guys have?

Where do we register teams? or is this just still in the idea stage?

Hey guys,

In terms of a prize, Riot offers rewards if you apply for a tournament at least 30 days before the start date and have 8+ teams entered. The prize is Triumphant Ryze skin for the winning team, and RP for the top 4 teams. Check out the FAQ:

Currently they're only offering it for NA and EU tournaments :?
We have something in the works though!
