I was banned for attempting to exploit a glitch to 'auto-login' to an adminastrators account.

I believe this is unreasonable as i have 4 brothers/sisters, 5 of us total and 4 of us play minecraft, on this server. I know for sure it wasn't me. I do not know whether my sisters/brothers were on at the time or not, and I do not know what they did or did not do.

So i think its unfair to ban ALL of us, however i do understand that it is impossible to ban 1 member of a certain ip. I will talk to them and hopefully you can unban us as this is the only time this will ever happen

1. I said, I had 5 children including me. 4 of us play minecraft. 1 doesn't. I then said that myself and 2 innocent siblings would be punished, because 1 of us is obviously guilting therefore, as math states, 4-1 = 3 and 3 equals the amount of innocent ( not including one who doesn't play) children in my house including me. So next time please don't correct someone rudely like that as I remember you saying in one of your posts that you shouldn't do that.

2. Doing whatever I apparently did is also for personal gain. Xraying and other external modifications are for personal gain and so is accessing a admins account.

3. That was one of my siblings on at the time of when we were banned. He is younger and I have no idea what he said but lets just say he's not super smart, ok?

4. And I would finally like to point out that I still haven't heard whether whoever did it actually accessed any commands, etc.etc.? Because surely the worst punishment should be given to those who take the extra mile and do acess commands. However I don't know what they did, if they did acess commands then I will let this argument go but if they didn't then I beg to differ the size of the punishment. Yes I have already read those bans and I think they were unfairly treated unless, of course they accessed commands that could benefit them.

* to finally sum up, I think the fair way to resolve this is to ban our ip for a week or so but ban my account permanently. Plus what would you do on an administrators account that could benefit you anyway? Now I'm pretty uninformed as to what you can do as an admin so don't rage...

Guess what? Not rude at all? Why? Because I spoke to you ingame about this. A standard question before I IP ban someone for hacking offences is whether they have any other people using the IP? What did you say? You said only your sister? 1 Sister, And then obviously lets add two other innocent siblings to that list.

What you seem to have clearly ignored in this reply is the simple fact that your offence was of excessive proportions. It doesn't really matter whether it is for personal gain. Accessing an Admin's account can lead to serious harm to other users which is not what xraying provides. You seem to be hiding behind a shield of innocence based on this fact. You hack into an Admin's account? The IP gets IP banned in almost every circumstance as provided by the quoted reports.

You came on immediatly after the restart to prevent this happening. Once again there is no way you can deny a time link.

In almost every circumstance simply accessing the account is enough grounds for an IP ban. They are not unfairly treated as the simple serious of trying to access an admin account is of massive proportion. Go find people on here who think that's acceptable and I think you'll find the same response.

Administrator accounts are the most senior rank on the server (Excluding OP which is not switched on for reasons that it can cause problems while being unnecessary) What can an Admin do? Every command. Banning people. Opping other users, Which gives them every command. Giving people stuff through /give commands, Wanding things, regioning things... Etc. The amount of commands at least numbers over 300.

Like I said earlier, I don't have log access until up to two days after the incident where it will be further reviewed to investigate the damage caused.

The log will show all actions related to the logging in as well as provide a better picture of who or who may or may not have been hacking.

Unless there is something in the logs that is a clear indicator that these facts are wrong, expect little to change.

Regardless of who or what or how, someone on that IP address tried to access my account. Might sound harsh but that's been the rule from day 1.
