nether portal glitch

when me and my friends went into the nether via my personal portal nothing happened but when we went out via my portal we ended up at a different place and we couldnt get out i couldnt use chat or command. i still cant get out when i come back. if anyone could help me that would be great.

Best thing to do would be to jump on mumble and get one of the mods or admins to warp you out of the portal to spawn

Mumble would have been good or one message to the admins, instead of spamming the forums...
