I've recently been having a few problems with mining; I was mining at about 60 blocks down and about 30% of the time a block would reappear after mining it and collecting 1 cobblestone. So I would mine it again, and it would go away without coming back again, not giving me another cobblestone.
This has been very annoying, as it almost killed me once when a block reappeared once I had moved forward. I'm not sure if this is just a laggy glitch with my computer, but I'd be very grateful If someone would look into this for me, as this is my favorite Minecraft server.
