low fps on server

im not sure but its fine everywhere except here i have 140 in sp, 110 on my friends hosted 2p server and 90 on a slightly larger one but here i have only 20 and its unplayable could anyone help me with this. Im making a new computer but not in the near future not for like 6 months

Thats very strange...
I actually get 18 FPS average on single player and 35 FPS on the lolnet server as you are no longer computing anything.
Are you sure your not running any mods or anything?

i have optifine which barely helped lol still unplayable... im not sure i guess ill have to wait and hope a 3rd gen i5 and a 6870 will do a better job than a 6570 and a 1st gen i3 lol

Your computer should have no problems with playing Minecraft :/

Ok try running in command prompt:

ping lolnet.co.nz -n 10

and then paste the results.
Then download HitmanPro:
http://www.surfright.nl/en/downloads
and perform a scan, might pick something up might not (I know its only in this server, but just going through general stuff)
Then do a speedtest to an Auckland server and a Wellington Server and post the image results here.
Do the tests at: http://www.speedtest.net/

Should be able to get something sorted out...
