lost everything

I did a lot of collecting resources last night. This morning did a bit of exploring, warped to 'snowball fight', saw the warning that players and spectators would lose everything, didn't want that, so didn't go that way, just turned the other way onto a couple of steps, did not go to the top, decided it was not worth the risk of losing everything as I didn't know at what point that would be, warped back to pluto. Went back to my homeworld, checked my inventory to pick up a pumpkin I just found - and my inventory is empty!
Nothing but the stick that was in my hand!

Any way to get all that stuff back - does the server keep a record of what I was carrying?

All my stuff is back, it is as if it didn't happen - was it maybe just some glitch?
If someone did fix it - thank you.

it's a glitch. I've noticed when going to war world all my items from pluto are listed in my inventory, as soon as you click one of these items however they disappear. I'd say that is what happened.
