Currently we are looking for a Terraria Admin

What are some ways you think you could improve the current server?

There is no set date for finding an Admin, we're just looking for that special someone who can look after and build up the server!

I would like to be the admin of the terraria server, as long as it won't take up too much time. I don't have much experience with terraria multiplayer other than with friends on LAN, but i have done a lot of minecraft online on your server and others so I know what people expect in a server, and I expect I can deliver that to the players to a certain extent. I am currently working on my own server for terraria
I have my own private minecraft server which I am going to make so that it doesn't require hamachi soon
I have some friends which could help make this into a good community
I could improve the current server by resetting it (it has been griefed a lot)

-I have run a Terraria server awhile back, I was also a Mod on a server called ShadowCast.
-I am currently a GameMaster (Slightly Higher Rank Than MOD) On a Minecraft server name Cloudmine, I also use to own a Minecraft server, I am also an Admin on another Minecraft server.
-New plugins, cool buildings and friendly staff would be my technique to keep people interested in playing on the server
-I did alot of advertising for Cloudmine, which has helped the server to grow, My advertising techniques would be helpful to run a successful Terraria server, I am also a Business Student. I have played roughly 200 hours of Terraria.

I once did a course with you once (java)
Since then I have been playing a lot of Terraria, I have almost logged 100 hours and know how to set up a non-hamachi server. I have put those skills in use by hosting a server with a couple of friends. (around 5)
I have vast knowledge of the game as I have finished it and wish to to play with a great group of people
I would keep the members of the server interested and entertained by making nice builds such as:

No sir. But it's never too late to start!

Yes, yes I have. A GTA San Andreas server, in fact.

How are you going to keep players interested in the server?
Same as the Minecraft server; provide challenges, a currency system and a fun, friendly environment that makes you want to log on, and chat to everyone.

What are some ways you think you could improve the current server?
The terraria one? I thought it was offline? :s

As a side note, as I am at school, still, I would only be on during out-of-school hours, and can't promise that I could be on for several hours straight, but I'd pop-in whenever possible!

Why is the server offline? when i first heard of the terraria server i was really looking forward to it but i tried joining and it didnt work. :skeleton:

This post is old, we aren't running a server anymore because Terraria never allowed much of a plugin development/server plugins system. Couldn't protect it properly from griefing do rollbacks etc.
