lolnet minigames

Hey guys,

I have noticed lately that there aren't as many community based events on lolnet and would like to help bring the whole lolnet community together by creating a whole new series of mini games.

i have been thinking about doing this project for a while now but only just had the opportunity to start it with the new position i have as a moderator. i have a few ideas about games that i would like to build but would like to get everyone else's opinions and ideas on the matter, so if you have a idea for what you would like to see me build just post it in this forums and i will add it to my list.

i am hoping to have a new mini game built every 2-3 weeks (maybe more frequent if i get the time) and when a larger amount of mini games have been built i will hold like a friday night event rotating around each mini game and getting new players to play each week.
i will try to include a small prize for the winning player or team with the release of each mini game of say around $15,000 lolnet cash (still working on prizes).

Atm this is just a concept idea and have put it on the forums to see what response i would get and see if you like the idea. So leave any ideas or comments relating to this below and hopefully we can turn this into a regular thing on lolnet and help bring the community together.

I have an idea for one of the minigames. It's basically ripped from the Noxcrew Gameshow custom map, but it's called mayan hunt. It involves "hunters" chasing "survivors" through a small jungle area. The aim of the game is for the survivors to survive for as long as possible. You could bend the rules of it, so if a survivor(s) survives for longer than a set period of time, they win the match. It's good for a laugh.

sounds good man, i have already started a rip off version of the noxcrew blocksket ball course and will make sure that this one is high on my list of things to do as it sounds like it would be a good laugh.

And sure benzpie it would be awesome if you could record the minigames so long as a admin is able to give you media rights

im looking at making a small hallowen themed parkour course that will be opened on the night of hallowen.
let me know what you guys think of the idea and if you would be interested to have a run of the course.
i will try to make it a easier course but we will see how it goes. i may end up making a 3 stage difficulty course, progressing from easy to hard.

here is my idea for a arena game
so there 2 (or more) players in a obsidian arena each given some tnt, redstone torches , redstone , presure plates , flint and steel , food. the objective is to blow up the other player (not to light him on fire or beat him to death)
you could also put in a disspenser at the top of the arena to drop in more items but make it so there is a chance that a zombie will spawn so no one camps around the disspenser

gravs good idea but alot of maintenance is involved with it but all round i like the concept.
