lolAuth Beta Test

Hey guys, we have a semi developed auth plugin to replace AuthDB.

If you would like to test it out and let us know of any major bugs that would be awesome! :lol:

Registration currently doesn't work in game, it just flicks you the link to register on the forums.
If you find any bugs and post them here you'll receive in game money on the lolnet server (minimum of $1000 per bug) :mrgreen:

Commands:
/login
/logout
/register

Use the same password you use for our lolnet server!

ok I have tried drowning myself, trying commands, /login then /logout and trying to kill myself and commands, works great

bug: I loss hunger, I can eat while logged out, (which mean i might be able to use potion (splash))

If i break grass it sends "You must Login!" 3 times

suggestion: If i try drowning myself it starts spamming to me. you could kick the player after so many (e.g. 20), if i jump in lava it spams around 1000 every 5 secounds

that's all i can find for now

player can open chests, funaces etc,
player can craft items
player can pickup drop-ed items
player can damage (kill) other players and mobs that are logged in.
player can create nether portal
player can place water and lava with a bucket
player can take water and lava with a bucket

When on fire it also repeats must login many times

Fixed:

Can no longer eat or use potions
Kicked after 30 no login messages
Players can't open chests or furnaces or craft items etc
Player can no longer create nether portals
Player can't do anything with a bucket until logged in

To Do:

Stop picking up of items
Damaging mobs and players when not logged in
Stop Hunger Draining

with the "Kicked after 30 no login messages" it would mean if i fell in lava i would instantly be kicked and no longer be able to /login in time

Thanks for trying but we're looking for bugs that are directly related with lolAuth. We are developing this plugin as a solution to the many lag issues we currently experience.

ok 0zlw here's one,
Typing /login <pass> with an incorrect pass (while already logged in) will disconnect you from server giving the message "Incorrect Password!"

Danhanado that's not necessarily a bug.
Currently it kicks you if you put the password in incorrectly.

Wait, read that wrong. Yup shouldn't have access to /login when you are already logged in!

Just tested with a wolf and a zombie and neither did any damage provided I wasn't logged in.

You need to connect to wintech.net.nz:25566 to test out and debuggify our plugin.

1.Players inventory can be seen before logging in.

2.Before logging in, players can deal damage to mobs/animals/players but can't take any.

1. We won't be removing players inventories from view, primarily because we want to avoid issues with inventories going missing as well as adding an extra layer of complexity.

2. This is on the list of todo's on the first page

3. That's probably a typo, although it may be easier to be laid out /register password email

Can't pick up items
Cannot damage mobs
Stop Hunger Draining
Doesn't spam "You must Login!" as much anymore
Doesn't kick you after 20 "You must Login!" messages
Kicks you if you don't login for 60 seconds
Kicks you if you don't login for 60 seconds after logging in then logging out
Doesn't allow you to perform the command /login when you are already logged in!

ToDo:
Check password length
Check email is valid
Make user activate email before being able to login

There are probably going to be a ton of bugs with this so please let me know and we'll fix them ASAP and send you some in game cash
