lag problems + solution

Hey guys I think I have the solution to the amount of lag that has been occuring.
In my poinion I think we should lower the amount of players allowed on the server to about 20? because we rarely get more people then that

it doesnt really matter changing the limit will probably make it worse because noone likes an empty server, the servers running adsl1 tmb at the moment

Its usually ok with ~8 people on, any more than that and it starts getting slow my end.
Although I did notice that there were 12 people on at one point at about 5pm NZT, which is the worst time to be trying to do anything on the internet in New Zealand due to everyone coming home and clogging up the tubes...
Working on an idea, hopefully an upgrade of some sort my end

what processor do you have atm

Server is Core i3, with 8GB dedicated RAM

With 12 people on it barely hits 15% CPU use and only uses about 3GB or RAM... Computer is not the problem, bandwidth is

I've got an awesome solution I'm working on, I'll get onto it during my 2 week break

So we're using much more powerful hardware now. Not like the old computer with 2.5GBs we used to run of.
