Hotel in process :)

my sis lily_xoxo and I we are building a hotel and I was thinking of making it official like getting people to stay in it for an amount of dollars and we would just like to ask whether it would be sutiable or not thanks

Sounds like a great idea. There is nothing wrong with it. Just remember, if you give someone access to a claimed area (like if they want to rent a room so you trust them) and they destroy it, the mods can't help you restore it because you willingly gave them access. Speaking from personal experience (I made a hotel that was free for new players in pluto), I found the best way was to make the hotel only one floor (claims go all the way from the sky to bedrock), and expand it out to the sides. Then, claim each room as its own area. That way each person only has access to their specific room. You can either make each room 100% its own claim (in which case they need to be 10x10, the smallest area you can claim), or you can claim the whole area and then subdivide the claim for each room. Just some thoughts.

i solved this problem when taxman started one with use of regions and sub regions but it will require jnrmod+ to admin it due to having to add and remove members from regioned rooms.

Yeah, I avoided suggesting regions because it requires jnrmod+ to be actively involved.

I live in a Hotel now

My villagers love me so much they offered to build me "Hotel Particular", whatever that means in french. Took them a few hours to finish it and I started moving in furniture tonite.

Sadly, we will probably delete the test world and start another soon, but I'll live in my Hotel until then

The most fun is not having to actually build stuff. Just watch workers run around putting in the walls and floors, and dig the basements.

Kingdoms will start up tomorrow as part of SuperSaturday. I finished up the spawn area last night, Dez and owlz and james have been busy getting the mods and protections working. A bigger challenge than normal with the demise of bukkit and move to 1.7.

I've decided to rebuild the glory of Rome this times around. I may have to build a stadiumand hire gladiators.

This would be a pretty cool idea it would give new players some where to stay until they can build a house of there own.
The only bad thing about this is there are a few things you need to think through before going ahead with this decision.
