well the 1.2 server is getting more and more people by day and the real lolnet being 1.1 and having 3 people max per day and the 1.2 on having 5-14 per day so yeah the test server is getting more people but mostly because of the pvp

Hmmm the problem is craftbukkit is still only in dev. I can't risk the main server with a dev base and plugins that aren't designed for 1.2.3. Even with backups if craftbukkit doesn't work properly it may corrupt those as well.
Its a pain whenever they update but hopefully this will be the last as the craftbukkit team are building the 1.2.3 plugin and then they actually have been given jobs at Mojang, so they will intergrate it directly into Minecraft in the future.

hey i have an idea, how about if you send me the world save and i can start up a 1.2 server so people can try out the new things.
