Section 2: Introduction to creating your town.

Hey there, want to start a new safe town, or better protect your current base, well I’m here to help, below will be a list of helpful commands to protect from and stop in-house griefing, also more common commands to make your town easy to manage.

We’ll start off by create town command /t new name (replace “name” with the name of your town e.g. mytown123) and bam you’ve got yourself a town.

Having this town gives you 1 chunk claim, the claim chunk command is /t claim while standing in the chunk you want claimed, un-claiming is just as simple using the command /t unclaim. If you find yourself with not enough claims there are 3 ways to get more.

1. Donating, for every $5 donated you receive an extra claim chunk. (For more donation perks see here: http://lolnet.co.nz/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=2087 all donations go to upgrading and keeping the server running.)

2. You can buy more claims from the in-game shop for $1000 in-game currency, you can get in-game money by selling ores or voting, voting at http://ftbservers.com/server/461/vote will gain you $150, you can do this daily

3. Last option is adding new members to your town, their 1 chunk or any extra from donating with be added to yours, and vice versa, if they leave they will be removed.

Section 3: Common commands for your own town.

Now that you know how to use MyTown commands, here are some helpful commands to help you live a peaceful life in your town.

• Turn mobs off inside town: /t perm town set mobsoff true
• Turn mobs on inside town: /t perm town set mobsoff false
• Turn mobs off inside plots: /t perm plot set mobsoff true
• Turn mobs on inside plots: /t perm plot set mobsoff false

After these examples it is simple to learn the rest just type /t perm town and a list of permissions will show up, at the end of the lines there is bright green writing in brackets followed by purple writing, for example; the first line is “Town member rights [town] : None (inherited)” to see what changes can be made type “/t perm town set town” after town add a space and then use the Tab key to auto complete through a list of options you can change it to and hit enter once you see the option you’d like.

Here are a few more examples from /t perm town:

Nation member rights [nation] : Enter (inherited)
Command: /t perm town set nation (space) then tab through options.

Outsider rights [out] : Enter
Command: /t perm town set out (space) then tab through options.

Section 4: Commands for managing your town with members.

Now you’ve set up your town, when you get new member joining you can /t assignplot <name> to those people allowing them to be sub owner of that plot, giving them access to commands of that plot and also allowing them to add friends to their name.

Example of this would be, Samsin has a plot in the corner assigned to him, Samsin friends the player Jimmybob, Jimmybob then has access to Samsins plot, but Jimmybob does not have access to the rest of the town or other players plots, keeping the rest of the town safe from griefing if it occurs.

All the basic commands and permissions apply to players’ plots, if they would like it changed if they have permission they can change them.

Tip: If you donate $20 you get the right to make and use Demensional Anchors.

Section 5: TL;DR
Ultra-quick commands to make a town.

New town: /t new <name>
Add nation: /t nation new <name>
Claim chunks: /t claim
Un-claim chunks: /t unclaim
Turn mobs off: /t perm town set mobsoff true
Creeper explosions off: /t perm town set creepoff yes
Set town spawn: /t setspawn
Use town spawn: /t spawn
Town claims map: /t map on|off

Any in-house greifing is on the owner of the town or owner of the plot, if you do not trust someone, do not add them to your town, if something goes missing or is broken it is on the owner of the town/plot.
