Gold Donator Wand - Update 25/06/2012

Hey guys, this is where you guys will get updates on what is happening with the wand command for Gold Donators.

The bad news:
At this stage the reason it is being held up is because World Edit (Wand) ignores all forms of protection and logging (it doesn't even log to the server console).
As you all probably know the biggest problem with Wand is that occasional mishap you may have where you accidentally turn the entire world into one giant cactus.
The problem with that is we have no ability to roll this back, which would rely on server backups and then if someone buggered something up people would lose items and builds etc.

The good news:
I'm in contact with the guys that make the World Edit plugin, trying to sort out if we can get passed the problem (by at least allowing us to log the changes that World Edit makes).

At this stage that is all we are waiting for Wand permissions for Gold Donators.

IF they can't sort this out, are there any other plugins that you know of that would make a good replacement or another plugin that you guys would want instead of Wand?

My CoreProtect could rollback world edit and detect the person who used the world edit with core inspect and co rollback. If you would like the core protect I have Ill send it to your mail thanks

We know what the current version of core protect does, and we do have it. But there are further underlying issues.

This was the main reason for choosing a $20 donation over a $5 donation. Could I suggest you edit this to remove it or at least let people know its broken. Also is there some other plugin we could look at implementing for those of us who have gone gold to replace it.

I will have a look through bukit and see if there is anything I would suggest.

just saying advanced teleport is took off coz of warworld i suggest removing it from the thing too.
