Dynmap for the 1.7 Survival?

I've seen dynmap used on my friends server he plays around with and was wondering if we would be able to get it? I'm not suggesting we use it on all the servers, as it would defeat some of the purpose for ww etc, but for survival if it was added in it would be a great help with finding new chunks, friends builds etc.

Dynmap has been suggested a number of times, we did have it originally way back and it is a neat thing to have on a small server.
The reason we won't use it is just the amount of resources this uses up while running, our CPU usage would go through the roof and seeing as our map in survival is now 12GB+ it just isn't feasible for a large minecraft server.
