I am writing this appeal on behalf ArchangeMike who was accused on Sunday 9 February 2014, of using a Hacked Client.
Before I go into small, niggly details of why he should be unbanned, I will outline a few points that I will cover in this appeal.
:bread: ArchangeMike enjoys playing lolnet Survival in the sincerest of manners.
:bread: I have worked with him on many projects that involve him gathering resources.
:bread: He is dedicated to LolNet and votes every day for lolcoins.
:bread: Mike is thorough in everything he does and makes sure to make the best of everything.
Point 1;
To start with, I would like to make an analogy. If a cheese was asked to be made out of wheat, it would say no. It would run away and hide. Its the same with Mike. If he was asked to use a hacked client, he would shoot himself. In fact, I mentioned a unnamed user that used a client (Who has previously been banned) and these were his exact words; 'Oh piss off, I don't want anything to do with those hacked clients'
No matter how weird that analogy was, I just like to compare foods, ok.
Point 2;
Having worked with Mike and hearing his frustration as he painstakingly measures, calculates and works hard to gather materials, by building dirt 'Scaffolding' in order to get the resources he needs. The dirt scaffolding is not the most efficient method, but it's how he does it and you will see plenty of dirt scaffolding if you use /warp mikeshome and take a look around. You can ask Im_KuuZ, _panda_penguin_ ( :diamond: VIP) or Drachennnzz and they will tell you like it is. Mike is not a hacker.
He is a very hard and by no means illicit worker.
Point 3;
Mike and I might be skyping one day and the lolCoins message will pop up. Mikes reaction;
'Oh! I forgot to do the voting!' So he immediately votes and receives his lolcoins. He is so dedicated that he is always trying to think of ways to improve lolnet in any ways he can and then relays that to 0zlw.
ArchangeMike is one of the most loyal people I know and deserves to be allowed back on lolnet.
Point 4;
I started with an analogy and am going to finish with one.
A builder was bored with his job after 42 years of working for the same company. So he built his last house with the finest materials he could source. He then went to his boss and said that is it, I am retiring. His boss said that if he could build one more house he would be very grateful. So the builder set to work, but this time, because he had lost the will to go on, he used average materials and did not build his best. And when he finally finished the house, he went to his boss and said Done, now I am retiring. The boss handed him the keys to the house and said, Thats your present for your 42 years, take this house. And so the man had to live in that house. Had he known, he would have built his best.
Mike does his best whatever he does. He is always trying to be at his best whatever he does. So that if he ever leaves lolnet for whatever reason, he can always look back and say; Yes, I was a good user and I strove to do my best. So him being banned is like trying to skim a rock in a toilet. Its not right and it doesn't work because it isn't right. It doesn't make sense.
