User Assistant Application-Doom_NZ
Hi Mods, Admins and Owners (Or anyone who's reading this). Again. I am applying for UA. I know I have been demoted from UA once before and previous applications of mine have been denied or rejected. But I promise if this application is accepted, You will not regret it. I promise. Just read through this whole thing before you decide your vote. But if this is denied, I respect your decision and completely understand.
The Key Points:
Why do you want to become a User Assistant?
I feel users that play in the early morning don’t get enough help because there aren’t any staff online (Except for a few modded moderators). I am often on at these times. I would like to be able to help these players out even more than I do already. I really like helping people, it gives me a sense of accomplishment. User assistant is an important role and it can teach me to become a better person. I believe I can learn lots from the User Assistant position as I did last time.
Why do you believe you should become a User Assistant?
Because I generally help users everyday. Whether it's just friendly bits of advice, helping them demolish/build something or pointing out not to spam or use caps I can help. I have been on the server for around for years (Maybe a little less, this was also under a cracked account) but because of that long period of time spent on lolnet, I know lots about the server. I believe I have the skills to be a User Assistant and think I can help users thoroughly if they need it. If I become a User Assistant, I take my position with responsibility and do my job to the best of my abilities. Because I can (Like most people) be mature when I try.
What can you contribute to lolnet as a User Assistant?
Anything you want me to do, I can do (Or at least try to xD). I’m always up for a good chat. I can contribute fun, time and effort. I try to make jokes… Sometimes they're not funny… But I try to make someone smile when I can. I can contribute my knowledge of the server. I can build pretty well too, so I could build spawns or event maps if required of me.
Previous Experience and Skills:
Have you setup or operated a minecraft? Do you have any experience moderating or administering a MC server or in other games?
Yes I have set up a minecraft server before. Three in fact. One of them I run with my friends which I built the two spawns (Which are pretty decent size) that server runs plugins like essentials and things. The second server is whitelisted and I only use for testing commands and experimenting. The third is run through a website called aternos, which is a free server hosting website. I also have a minecraft realm world (I don’t know if that counts as a server)
What experience do you have using plugins?
I have experience using essentials, prism and CoreProtect. Also I have experience with this car plugin, which is just a minecraft that can go off rails and that might not be necessarily useful. But it's a plugin nonetheless.
What skills (outside of minecraft) could you provide lolnet?
This might be common one, but I can tell anyone I meet who plays minecraft about lolnet. I can use Photoshop to make cool images and posters. I make short videos on Youtube and I can edit them really well using a program called Final Pro X.
Examples of Contribution to the Server:
When was a time you acted like a moderator?
I helped a user on factions when nobody was helping him. I told him how to make a faction and about power. I reported a bug in banished when the questbook wasn’t working.
I may not do many big things that count as “acting like a moderator” but I do lots of small things that make all the difference I think.
When was a time you were not so moderator like?
This was maybe two years ago. But I once stole all of someone's valuables (Mika_Samuel) who was an emerald VIP who I don’t think comes on anymore. But I stole all his diamonds and denied I did it. I completely regret doing this and now would never even consider doing a thing like this.

How would you like to improve lolnet? What can we do to make lolnet better?
Lolnet is almost perfect. It just a fun place to hangout and just play some minecraft. I’ve said this before many times, but to improve it we could start using the lolnet Youtube channel more often. That could also be advertising in a way. Because so many people use Youtube, people are likely to find the channel and go “Huh this looks like a cool server” and might come along and start playing ;D
Do you own a microphone/headset? Have you used our Mumble server before?
(BTW it needs to be changed from mumble to discord
)
I have discord. It doesn’t seem to work for me. Maybe I’ll reinstall it. I have a Logitech G230 for my headset.
Is there anything you would like to add?
