Are we allowed to use mods on the server?

Because there is a mod I want to use called MAtmos whcih adds atmospheric sounds to the game. I wasn't sure if this was allowed so I though I'd ask here first before installing.

MAtmos is fine because it gives you no form of advantage over other players. Just like Optifine is allowed.
