Anybody! Please help!

I've had some really weird things happen, I tried to log in on to my Minecraft, and it said 'Can't connect to minecraft.net'. So I kept on trying, but no success, so I tried on my brother's Minecraft account, as well as a different computer. And the same thing happened.
So I tried to 'Play offline', and it went on. Then I tried to connect to lolnet, and I found myself in a prison (well that's what it looked like), and I couldn't login with my password. I had just been playing the day before, and everything had been working fine.
Then just to see if it was only that server, I tried connecting to another, and it said 'Failed to login: Bad login'.

I know this subject isn't just about lolnet, but I'm not very experienced with the technical stuff off the game. So I was hoping someone would know what has happened, and can help out. Because I love playing on lolnet, and this would stop it right now, forever, unless somebody can help fix it.

Just keep trying to log in, you'll get in soon. As to the jail cell, the account player has been stuck in prison because people often attempt to log on using it (The account is registered on the server with someone's password and login details)

But why would it be like this at the same time with two different accounts (which happens to be my brother's and mine), and two different computers?

The minecraft.net servers appear to be out so unfortunately you'll have to wait till they are brought back online. People all over are having trouble connecting.

Ok, thanks heaps for your help.

I'm kinda glad it's not just me, and something that is probably going to be fixed.
Do you know if this is something with what the Mojang people are doing with the update?

It's back on again and I found that it has happened to heaps of people.
So I am back on like normal again!

Have you just been promoted to 'Minecraft Admin' recently? Or is that something that should have been displayed a while ago?

The same thing happen to my account a long time ago. I went to my friends server and someone used a hack and knew my password and change my skin into a naked nerd.
