A modded 1.10 modpack??

New Member
Hey guys DhungusKhan here was wondering if you'd be interested in doing a 1.10 modded server there's a modpack called All the Mods on the curse modpacks. I haven't crashed through playing. Not saying there'd be bugs just a suggestion.

If it contains Draconic Evolution, I'd certainly be keen

Funny pack. LIterally anything they can put in 1.10. Some stuff makes mobs a bit harder, (but is probably turned way down by default because everyone loves easy packs) and tons of stuff that is very OP, like the original SoulShards.

A few things come to mind:
-Huge number of new mods that Mytown probably doesn't protect against yet, so expect surprises and don't be lazy and leavestuff in the open where it's easy to grief/steal, at least make a building with doors so they can't get in.
-Expect some stuff to not work because (servers, bungee cord, mod interactions with bad coding)
-Expect some mods would have to be turned off to prevent bad things happening.
-Don't constantly yell "how's this work?" since most players and staff wont have a clue. You'll have to actually look stuff up in a wiki, or experiment.
-Expect many bugs in new mods.

Anyone that's played this type of pack already knows the above though, and exploring new things can be fun.

Personally, i'd love to see this done as a (kingd of) hard mode pack. Cooking for Blockheads is awesome with Pams HarvestCraft, but totally unneeded if you don't make Spice of Life harsh. There are a lot of mods that make food plentiful, so it still wouldnt be tough, just more interesting.

Rough Mobs, infernal mobs, bloodmoon, and ender zoo would up the danger if set up right. Meaning all those OP weapons and armor would have a use and we run scared for the first part of game and really need to build to protect.

There are too many exploits and tricks in the pack to make it really tough once you progress in a couple of mods, but would be fun at first.

so the main reason we/I have not touched anything above 1.7 is the lack of server tools available there are no protections and very limited functions to help run the server this will slowly change over the coming months and I am keeping a close eye on development as we move forward

Cheers Dez

The lack of server tools is apparent from the posts of people trying to get servers like this up. Every time i see a server go up, i then see a lot of messages asking how to fix the server, why does it keep crashing, etc.

Modded may be 1.7.10 for a while. Which, actually, isn't a bad thing to have a stable way to play the game while waiting on more stability a few steps up the ladder.
